Condor II Assault Pack

The Maxpedition Condor II is a mid-size daypack built on the military assault pack pattern: big enough for a day in the field, small enough for daily carry. It holds roughly 1,350 to 1,950 cubic inches (22 to 32 liters), takes a hydration reservoir, and has attachment webbing on nearly every surface so you can add pouches as needed. Hikers, search and rescue crews, range shooters and anyone building a get-home bag will find it a practical size.

Features

• 1000-Denier Ballistic Nylon — The shell is heavy, tightly woven nylon (denier measures fiber thickness) with a triple polyurethane coating that sheds water and resists abrasion.
• PALS Webbing Throughout — Rows of stitched nylon loops on the front, sides and shoulder straps accept MOLLE pouches, knives, lights and clips wherever you want them.
• Quick-Release Compression Straps — Four buckled side straps cinch down a partly filled pack and can secure a long item along the side.
• Removable Y-Strap — A buckled Y-shaped strap runs over the top and front to hold a jacket or other bulky item, and it unclips when you don't need it.
• Hydration Compartment — A dedicated rear sleeve fits a 100 oz (3L) reservoir, sold separately, and a bi-directional port lets the drinking tube exit toward either shoulder.
• Padded Harness — The 2-inch wide adjustable shoulder straps have breathable padding, their own PALS webbing and D-rings, plus a sternum strap and waist belt to keep the load steady.
• Clamshell Compartments — The main and front compartments zip open wide for packing, with mesh zippered pockets inside the lids for small items.
• Hook-And-Loop Interior Panels — Loop fields inside the rear compartment accept hook-backed holsters, pouches and organizers, so you can fix gear in place.
• YKK #10 Zippers — Large-gauge YKK zippers with cord pulls are easy to grab and work with gloves on.
• Reinforced Base With Lash Straps — Non-slip, abrasion-resistant material covers the bottom, and straps underneath hold a rolled jacket, tarp or sleeping pad.

Size And Construction

External dimensions are approximately 13 x 16 x 9 inches (33 x 40.6 x 22.9 cm), and the pack weighs about 2.78 lb (1.26 kg) empty. It is the second generation of Maxpedition's Condor design, updated with features for everyday use, and is made in Taiwan. A grab handle on top makes it easy to pull from a vehicle or hang on a hook.
