Brought my grandpas 1911 back to lifeI inherited my grandpas old 1911 a few years ago and the original mag was completely shot, it would jam like every other round and I was getting so frustrated at the range. Finally did some research and saw Mec-Gar makes the OEM mags for a lot of companies so I figured Id give this blued 7-rounder a shot. Came in the mail super fast, packaged real secure in a little baggy. I took it out to the desert last weekend and ran a whole box of .45 through it without a single hiccup. Its honestly like a brand new pistol now, the rounds feed smooth and the spring tension feels perfect. Only tiny gripe is it sat in the gun a little tight at first but it broke in after a few loads. Definately ordering a couple more to keep in the range bag.
