This Mec-Gar magazine is a 15-round replacement or spare for the Taurus PT92 and PT99 9mm pistols. Owners use it to add capacity for range sessions, replace a worn original, or keep loaded spares for a home-defense or duty-style setup. It is built in Italy with a heat-treated steel body and a music wire spring.

Construction and Fit

The body is carbon steel with formed reinforcing ribs pressed into the sides, and the top is shaped into feed lips, the curved edges that hold the top round and release it as the slide moves forward. Inside, a music wire spring drives a polymer follower, and a polymer floorplate closes the bottom. It is sized for the Taurus PT92 and PT99, so check your pistol's model before ordering.
