Precision Pro Grip Glove

The Precision Pro is a thin, close-fitting shooting glove from Mechanix Wear. It protects your hands while leaving the trigger finger and the fine motor work almost as sensitive as bare skin. The palm carries a silicone hex grip that holds a pistol, magazine or rifle handguard without you having to clamp down on it. Mechanix designed it for law enforcement, military and shooting sports. This black TAA version is the compliant variant often specified for agency and government purchasing.

Features

Padlock Silicone Grip — A raised hexagonal silicone pattern covers the palm and fingers, so a grip stays put with less hand pressure and small parts are easier to control.
Touchscreen Two-Piece Palm — The synthetic leather palm is built in two pieces for a closer fit and works on touchscreens, so you can use a phone or tablet with the gloves on.
Hourglass Finger Pattern — The fingers narrow at the knuckle, which cuts down on fabric bunching when you close your hand.
Rollover Fingertips — The fingertip material wraps over the end of each finger instead of meeting in a seam there, which adds durability and keeps trigger feel clean.
Eyelet Knuckle Flex Joints — Small slotted expansion areas over the finger joints let the back of the hand stretch as you bend your fingers.
Thumb Sweat Wipe — A soft panel on the back of the thumb gives you somewhere to wipe your brow without taking a glove off.
Wide-Fit Hook-And-Loop Cuff — A low-profile cuff with a hook-and-loop strap (the same fastening as Velcro) adjusts for a secure fit without restricting wrist movement.
EN 388 And ANSI Rated — The glove is rated EN 388 2121X and ANSI abrasion level 4, which reflects scuff and wear protection; it is not a dedicated cut-resistant glove.
TAA Compliant — It meets the Trade Agreements Act, the US rule that governs which country of manufacture is acceptable for federal procurement.

Fit, Sizing And Care

The shell is made from polyester, spandex and nylon, with a mesh back for airflow and a pull tab at the cuff for getting the glove on quickly. Sizes run from Small to XX-Large on the Mechanix chart, which uses finger length and palm width; if you fall between sizes, Mechanix recommends sizing down for a snug fit. The gloves are machine washable.
