Mechanix Wear Original Covert Gloves

These are my yard work and light weight gloves of choice. Love these. Perfect for most tasks around the yard. And if they get dirty I just toss them in the washer and dryer and are good to go again. Great durability. The sizing chart on their website works great for me. I got a small because I didn't want to get an XXS which are usually a little too small. The medium fit just right. Will be getting another pair soon.

Gloves arrived on time and in great condition. I'm using them for my duty as a Federal law enforcement agent. They provide a decent grip, however I wouldn't recommend using them to manipulate firearms. My fellow officers wear mechanix gloves and sometimes have difficulty manipulating their weapons because of them. The gloves provide great grip for handling smaller equipment and they are great at repelling oil, grease, and any liquids you come in contact with. Good gloves, not great.

I used these gloves for making my wagon bed a bit more rigid, in general I liked the material and I didn't even have to alter them that much. My only wish was for a little better protection around the index and thumbs. Overall, it was great for the price and was still better than the Harbor Freight model, in my opinion.

I use them for working out at home or outside. The feel is awesome.

Mechanix have never let me down in quality. They last a while but after you use them hard they will split. This is the reason for the only four stars instead of five. This model was no exception to the other Mechanix that I have owned. The reason I'm buying them again is because I like them. I don't care that they split after a few months of hard use, the only way I can think of to make them last longer is to only use them light duty, that is, not doing anything to them like I do when they are my work gloves. As for the rest, they are awesome. Mechanix will be the only company that I buy from from now on for gloves. Thanks again guys. If I could give you more stars, I would. This model has the Velcro straps and it has held up well. They will wear a little, and they can cause some trouble, however they work and hold strong.

Great pair of light gloves, very light, breathable and snug. Very useful, good in very warm weather or summer when a more thicker set glove isnt needed. Just enough protection and dexterity. Great when I go to work at the tire store because of all the hot steel I deal with. One big flaw that prevents me from giving this glove 5/5 is it’s poor durability. Not enough. My palms are ripped and my pinky finger tips. Still a 4/5 for the versatility, breathability and light weight

My husband wears these to help grip items when handling the furnace or outside in the cold. He really likes these gloves. They have helped with burned palms.

I've purchased three Mechanix Wear gloves and they are among the finest, reasonably priced, gloves available. I have an IPhone 7 Plus and I've put it into the pockets and had zero trouble reaching into the pocket with a couple of chores. In warm weather, I've not been sweltering in these. In cool weather, it has helped to prevent some hands chill. It appears, based on some YouTube how-to videos that the Mechanix will improve accuracy when using a semi-automatic weapon with an external safety on it. However, I don't have any first-hand experience on that subject. These are well made and I recommend them for any number of jobs and the price is more than fair. One of the two pairs had some stitching coming loose. The stitching was no long enough to be serviceable, I suppose. I simply had them replaced under their "1-Year" warranty, (not the stated LIFETIME warranty). There's no extra work involved in the return or the replating and they just emailed me the revised pair, two weeks after my exchange, via FedEx, free of charge. There's no question about Mechanix Wear quality, it's "invisible". I LOVE THOSE! STAY COOL. Just remember that Mechanix don't work for heavy manual labor or construction type jobs where the durability, fit, and breathability will be a concern for a short period.

These gloves just do it all! I bought them because they are comfortable, stylish and are multifunctional. You can shoot, build things, get your hands dirty, use tools and they clean up great. Just buy them, you won't regret it.

Fit is true to your usual mechanix size. These are solid and are still holding up great 6 weeks after ordering. They are also fairly affordable for being a brand like mechanix.

These gloves really feel amazing, if I could, I would buy another set just to replace the old ones, but alas, money is a constant factor. I love that you can use your phones touch screen with them on. These are my daily drivers, I work on trucks for the majority of my work week, and sometimes I get blisters. With these, I can usually get by with one pair, but when I need more, I usually just grab another cheap pair. I am also thinking of trying the Impact gloves as I am in the market for a tougher set. These, are comfortable for what I do. I used to wear a much cheaper pair, by mistake I wore them out, which prompted me to order a new pair, only to be in amazed that I had ordered a knock off and that these are the real deal!

Love Mechanix, but these gloves don't last long at all. Good for wearing when hunting to protect from sharp twigs and branches, etc, but they wear out too fast.

Perfectly sized and fitting gloves that fit like second skin, and yet are thick enough to be protective of the wearer's hands and grip strong tools, etc. Not flimsy at all, though the feel and appearance would suggest otherwise. They are a bit "grippy" so if you use these for dexterous work it might take some getting used to and your job might get messier than you want. But, for people who need to keep their grip and grip strength and ability, these are perfect and will protect your hands as you work.

Just a good glove for anything really

these things look great and seem like they will last a while, but the xl was just a little too small. They felt like you were pinching my fingers when i tried to pick up something with them on. Im sure the xxl will fit, i just have to pay to ship them back. I'll give them another shot. I really want to like these. Im just being very picky with sizing, sorry!

My new favorite shooting gloves. Lightweight and the fit is good, comfortable.

Very light weight and well made. Durable, but not crazy durable. If you are trying to keep your hands from sweating then it is important to keep them clean. If they get oily then they are no good. These fit like my issued one that got ruined on an aircraft rescue boat when my nose got a little too dry. They lasted for two years of abuse, and they were expensive.

I was using my walmart brand gloves to ride, I got ahold of the shifter on my kz750. So now my hands have big old scratches and they sting when it rains or gets hot. My walmart ones cost like 10 bucks and are great if you dont care about how they look, these were more like 30 or 40 but worth it for looks and protection. I wear them to work as well as the other mechanix gloves. If you just need a pair of black gloves to work with or ride and dont care about how they look then the walmart brand is fine. If you need protection and to be more professional, look good or want long lasting quality, go with the mechanix gloves! Oh and just be smart and dont ride with gloves if you can avoid it, theyre fine but it's one more thing to mess up or wear out.

Best gloves ever bought. These gloves feel great. I work in manufacturing so my hands take a beating everyday and these gloves have never let me down. Will be buying more soon. I recommend to anyone who has rough hands and needs a pair of gloves that feel good and last. They fit like a charm and look great. Will buy these gloves forever.

I have gone through many pair of gloves in a year and Mechanix have become my go to brand. There comfortable, fit perfect, and they are incredibly durable for the price. I have put these to work in some rough work and these are still going strong. I will buy more as I go.

These gloves are perfect for working in an Amazon-style warehouse or other similar places where they require close-to-the-body manipulation of materials and light movement. They are a bit on the pricey side, but are great for short-term use. If you are looking for gloves for heavy-duty work, get the mechanix rigger gloves instead.

I use these for a wide variety of activities outside in cold weather, including firewood gathering and construction. They work well for anything outside in colder weather. They keep my hands warm but not to the point that I can't dexterously manipulate tools. They're comfortable and durable. They fit a little snug at first, but that wears in after some wear.

Very nice gloves. Used for general handyman work and also on the range for loading/unloading pistol magazines. Great quality and a great fit!

Wear for construction, mechanic, shooting, even just yard work. Fit is as good as a hand should be when fitted. Easy in and out, the velcro will keep you secure in even extreme applications. Can take abuse, does have an impact absorbing material. Not so stiff that movement is impeded.
