Thin-Palm Shooting Gloves

The Mechanix Wear Specialty 0.5mm in Coyote, a light brown-tan shade, is a glove for work where you need to feel what your fingers are doing: running a trigger, working a safety, loading magazines or handling small parts. The palm is only half a millimeter thick, so you keep most of your bare-hand feel while protecting your skin from scrapes, heat and grime. Mechanix designs it for shooting sports, law enforcement and military use.

• TrekDry Back Of Hand — A lightweight, breathable knit conforms to the back of the hand and cuts down on heat build-up and sweat.
• TPR Wrist Closure — A low-profile thermoplastic rubber (TPR) tab on a hook-and-loop strap snugs the cuff around your wrist without adding bulk.
• Expandable Flex Joints — Stretch panels at the finger joints let the trigger finger bend freely instead of fighting the glove.
• Anatomical Stitch Darts — Shaped seams follow the natural curve of the hand, so the glove fits closely with less loose material at the palm and fingers.
• Perforated Palm — Rows of small holes across the palm let air move through the glove.
• Nylon Carrier Loop — A webbing loop at the cuff lets you clip the pair to a carabiner, belt or pack when they are off your hands.
• EN 388 Rated 1121X — The glove is rated under EN 388, the European standard for mechanical hazards, at level 1 abrasion, 1 cut, 2 tear and 1 puncture, which is light-duty protection suited to a dexterity glove.

Fit, Sizing And Care

The Coyote version is model MSD-72 and comes in Small through XX-Large (codes 008 to 012). To size, measure your palm width across the knuckles and the length of your middle finger, then check them against the Mechanix chart. If you fall between two sizes, Mechanix recommends going down one for a snug fit, which matters on a thin glove like this one. The gloves are imported.
