In the past 50 years, there has been a rapid development of new fibers and man-made materials that offer increased performance and protective properties. One of the most significant developments has been Nomex, one of the first successful heat resistant materials invented. Countless items have been produced using Nomex since the invention, including these tactical gloves by Mil-Tec of Germany.
Recognizing that natural leather is one of the best materials for grip surfaces, Mil-Tec has merged both Nomex and leather to produce these gloves. The Nomex is light weight, durable, and protective. Glove sizes run on the small side but I could squeeze these on. The leather palms & fingers have good grip and leather over the knuckles adds protection. Long cuffs minimize air leaks at the coat sleeves.
