Mil-Tec Nomex and Leather Gloves
Since the industrial age, man has realized the value of protection for your hands. In the past 50 years, there has been a rapid development of new fibers and man-made materials that offer increased performance and protective properties. One of the most significant developments has been Nomex, one of the first successful heat resistant materials invented. Countless items have been produced using Nomex since the invention, including these tactical gloves by Mil-Tec of Germany.
Recognizing that natural leather is one of the best materials for grip surfaces, Mil-Tec has merged both Nomex and leather to produce these gloves. The Nomex is light weight, durable, and protective. With the addition of leather palms, the ability to grip is increased with durability that comes from the use of leather. Consider these tactical gloves to be a great example of old and new technology blended together to work seamlessly.
Glove sizes run on the small side but I could squeeze these on. The leather palms & fingers have good grip and leather over the knuckles adds protection. Long cuffs minimize air leaks at the coat sleeves.
Got medium, could not come even close to getting them on, and I tried as hard as OJ did. However, look like good gloves, Wife loves them.
Great gloves! Gauntlet style that covers your sleeves and keeps wind off your arm. Wish these were a bigger size, I could only get medium and just a little small for me. Well made and look really good and would make a great riding glove if they came in a large or extra large.
Not a bad pair.
Not sure if they would be good for yard work but not bad for moving boxes and other lite duty stuff. Still they do look good and go good with a french fleece jacket I bought sometime again here. Give them a try and see for yourself.
