The Mil-Tec Nomex and Leather Gloves follow the long-cuff pattern of military flyer's and crew gloves: a flame-resistant fabric shell with leather where your hand meets the work. The leather palm and fingers give grip and handle abrasion, while the Nomex back and extended cuff cover the wrist and lower forearm. They suit vehicle crews, range shooters, airsoft and reenactment players, and anyone who wants a close-fitting glove with more coverage than a standard shooting glove.

Features

• Nomex Knit Back — The back of the hand and cuff are knit from Nomex, a flame-resistant aramid fiber that chars rather than melting or dripping when exposed to heat.
• Leather Palm and Fingers — Smooth leather covers the palm, the inside of each finger and the fingertips for grip and wear resistance without heavy bulk.
• Reinforced Palm Patch — A second stitched leather panel runs across the palm and up into the thumb crotch, where grips and tools rub hardest.
• Leather Knuckle Panel — A leather band across the back of the knuckles adds a layer over the area most likely to scrape against hard surfaces.
• Extended Gauntlet Cuff — The long fabric cuff runs well past the wrist so it can tuck under or sit over a jacket sleeve and close the gap at the wrist.
• Elastic Wrist Gather — Shirring at the inner wrist pulls the glove snug so it stays in place and does not twist on the hand.

Construction and Fit

Mil-Tec builds these gloves from two materials, each placed where it does the most good. Leather covers the palm, fingers and knuckles for grip and abrasion resistance, and Nomex covers the back of the hand and the long cuff for flame resistance and breathability. The cut is close and unlined, so they wear like a second skin rather than a work glove, and they layer easily under a jacket cuff or over a base layer.
