This is the two-chamber oil bottle made to go with the Mosin Nagant rifle, holding cleaning solvent on one side and lubricating oil on the other. Soviet riflemen carried this pattern to keep their rifles running after firing corrosive ammunition, which leaves salts in the bore that rust steel if left untreated. Mosin owners today use it the same way, and it is also a period-correct piece for a collection or a surplus kit display.

Fit and Compatibility

The bottle was made for Mosin Nagant maintenance, and it works just as well when cleaning SKS carbines and AK pattern rifles, which often fire the same kind of corrosive surplus ammunition. Fill the Щ side with your chosen bore solvent and the Н side with gun oil. The two caps unscrew independently, and the threads seal each chamber so the fluids stay separate in storage.
