This is a gas mask bag issued by the Polish Army, made from cotton printed in the Puma camouflage pattern, a dense brown-and-grey speckle over a khaki base. It was built to carry a respirator at the hip, ready to grab, on a single shoulder strap. Collectors of Polish and Eastern Bloc kit want it for its pattern and provenance. It also works as a compact everyday shoulder bag for a camera, water bottle or small field items.
