    I bought this to use as a mess kit bag. It's not evident from the photo, but this gas mask bag has three pockets, one large and two that are smaller, with a tiny pocket on the side. Having said that, there's tons of room in this thing. I was able to fit an East German mess kit, eight MRE entrees and a spoon, and in the small side pocket, I put a mint tin first aid kit, so I'm very satisfied with how much this bag can hold. The only drawback I see is the strap is really thin. It seems to be pretty sturdy, but it's thin.

    Bought some for myself and siblings, extremely good bags, and a nice size. The quality of materials is awesome and all the bags look un-issued. A nice alternative to my Polish Bread Bag, but not its replacement.
