PPU 5.56x45mm M200 A1 BLANK Cartridges - 20rd Box

5.56 NATO Training Blanks

These are 5.56x45mm blank cartridges from PPU, built to the M200 A1 pattern for training exercises, drills, reenactment and ceremonial firing. A blank has no projectile. It produces the report and muzzle gas of a live shot, so you can run realistic drills or fire a salute without sending a bullet downrange. Each box holds 20 rounds.

Features

• 5.56x45mm NATO Chambering — Sized for rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO, the standard cartridge of the AR-15, M16 and M4 family.
• M200 A1 Pattern — Loaded to the M200 A1 specification, the military designation for 5.56mm blank ammunition.
• Full-Length Brass Case — The case extends to roughly the length of a loaded live round, so it feeds from a standard magazine and chambers the way your rifle expects.
• Sealed Star Crimp — The case mouth is folded into a star-shaped crimp and closed with red sealant, which holds the powder in place and marks the round clearly as a blank.
• Boxer Primed — Uses a Boxer primer, the single central-flash-hole type common to US-market rifle ammunition.
• Blank Firing Adapter Required — Semi-automatic or full-automatic cycling needs a blank firing adapter, a muzzle device that traps enough gas to run the action.
• 20-Round Box — Packed 20 cartridges to a plain white box marked with calibre, designation and lot number.
• Made By PPU In Serbia — Manufactured by Prvi Partizan, the Serbian ammunition maker sold under the PPU name.

Cycling And Compatibility

These blanks work in AR-15, M16, M4 and other 5.56 NATO platforms. Without a blank firing adapter, a gas-operated rifle will fire each round but will not cycle the next one, so you will be working the charging handle by hand. Fit the correct adapter for your barrel and muzzle thread before a drill. Blanks still throw hot gas and debris from the muzzle at close range, so keep the same muzzle discipline you would with live ammunition.
