Fiocchi 12 Gauge Blank Ammunition

12 Gauge Blank Shells

Fiocchi 12 Gauge Blank Ammunition gives you the sound and flash of a shotgun shot without firing anything downrange. A blank is a shell loaded with powder and a primer but no shot or slug. Dog trainers use these blanks to get gun dogs used to the report. Re-enactors and film crews use them for scenes that need a real shotgun, and the box also lists signaling and scenic use.

Features

• 12 Gauge, 2 3/4 Inch Shell — This is the standard 12 gauge shell length, so it chambers in shotguns marked for 2 3/4 inch shells or longer.
• Smokeless Powder Load — Modern smokeless propellant burns cleaner than black powder and leaves less smoke and fouling in the barrel.
• No Projectile — The shell carries no shot or slug, so it produces noise and flash and nothing else.
• Filler For Report And Flash — A grit-type filler inside the hull gives a fuller report and visible muzzle flash, closer to the sound of a live round.
• Hull Printed BLANK — The translucent white hull is printed BLANK along its length, so these shells are easy to tell apart from live loads in a pouch or on a bench.
• Brass-Finish Head — The base has a brass-colored head with a centered primer and a FIOCCHI 12 ITALY 12 headstamp.
• 25 Rounds Per Box — Each box holds 25 shells, which covers a training session or a run of takes.
• Made In Italy — Fiocchi has produced ammunition since 1876, and the headstamp on these shells reads ITALY.

Fit And Safe Handling

These shells fit any 12 gauge shotgun chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells, and they also fit 3 inch and 3 1/2 inch chambers, which accept the shorter length. Blanks have no projectile, but the muzzle blast and filler can still injure someone at close range. Handle them with the same care as live ammunition, and never point the gun at a person or animal.
