Fixed-Blade Skinning Knife

The RAT 3 Skinner from OKC is a compact fixed-blade knife built for field dressing and skinning game. Its wide, deeply curved edge is shaped to separate hide from meat in long, controlled strokes, a job a pointed utility blade does less cleanly. Hunters who process their own deer, hogs or smaller game will get the most use from it. It ships with a brown leather belt sheath.

Blade, Handle And Sheath

The blade is laser-marked RAT-3 SKINNER on the flat and has a plain, unserrated edge, which is easier to keep sharp in the field. The handle scales are screwed in place rather than molded on. The sheath is cut to the blade's rounded profile, with a strap that snaps over the handle to hold the knife in place and a loop on the back for wearing it on a belt.
