<p>Bought it to replace the one I bought a few years ago. My original had a plastic buckle for strap adjustment - which broke when I used the hat as a fly swatter. If you've been to Iraq of Afghanistan, you know that becomes a habit in the field.<br /><br />Anyway, this is an EXACT replacement with ONE EXCEPTION. The back strap is velcro closure. If you're not a fan of velcro, bear that in mind.<br /><br />Overall...a good buy for the money.</p>

<p>I got these for my hubby, he loves them. Quality is really good, it's been two years and the colors haven't faded at all. He likes them because he has a low crown and the hat doesn't sag on the top. Plus you can add your own patches and switch them out. Will definitely buy again</p>

<p>I wanted the hat in the picture, the hat they shipped the velcro has a embossed "rothco" logo. I bought this hat specifically because it didn't have the logo. Kinda annoyed, it is covered up by the patch, and it's a low cost but otherwise comfortable hat. Kinda disappointed with the change, if not for this it would have been a solid 5-star. I love these hats, but I sincerely dislike logo-wear. The logo is covered up if you're wearing a full sized flag patch, however if you're just putting a name tape on it, the logo interferes with how it sticks. I ended up just cutting the velcro off and sewing on some fresh stuff.</p>

<p>I'm ordering another one right now. This hat fits better than any tactical hat I've owned and I've owned several major brands. The color is exactly what I would call true coyote. It hits close to the top of my head without having to pull it all the way to my ears. (it doesn't to look tall). This is a great hat for the money. Yes the velcro is a little bigger than most patches but it's not over stated. I'm adding a photo of my old one for comparison.</p>
