Rothco's BDU Style Cargo Shorts take the cut and pocket layout of the classic military Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) trouser and end it just above the knee. You get six pockets, adjustable waist tabs and a cotton and polyester fabric for hot-weather range days, camp, yard work or everyday wear. The coyote brown colour pairs with tan boots and the earth-tone gear many shooters and hikers already own.

Fabric And Fit

The shorts are made from a cotton and polyester blend with contrast-free tonal stitching throughout and reinforced pocket corners on the cargo and rear pockets. The inseam ends just above the knee, as shown on the model, which leaves room for kneeling without the hem binding. Between the side adjustment tabs and the belt loops, you can fine-tune the waist whether you wear them loose for casual use or cinched under a belt for range work.
