Samurai Warrior PVC Patch

A morale patch is an unofficial patch you add to your gear for personality rather than rank or unit. This one from Mil-Spec Monkey shows a samurai helmet and snarling face mask in molded PVC. It belongs to the company's Warrior Head series, and the hook backing lets you put it on a pack, cap, jacket or plate carrier and move it whenever you like.

Features

• Molded PVC Construction — PVC is a flexible, rubbery plastic that holds raised detail and has no threads to fray the way embroidery can.
• Sewn Hook Backing — Hook fastener material is stitched to the back, so the patch presses onto any loop panel (the soft half of a hook-and-loop closure) and peels off again.
• Compact 2.67 x 3 Inch Size — At roughly 2.67 by 3 inches (67.8 x 76.2 mm), it fits a shoulder panel, cap front or pouch flap.
• Full-Color Artwork — Red, gold, black and gray pick out the helmet crest, horns, neck guard and face mask.
• Raised Layered Detail — The fanged face mask, curved horns and riveted brow band stand slightly proud of the background, giving the design depth.
• Contoured Gray Border — A gray outline follows the shape of the helmet, so the patch has no square background around the artwork.

Sizing and Attachment

The patch measures about 2.67 inches wide by 3 inches tall, small enough to share a loop panel with a name tape or flag. It needs a loop surface to attach to, which most tactical caps, plate carriers, packs and soft-shell jackets already have. On a bag or garment without loop, you will need to sew on a loop panel first.
