Zak Tool ZT64 Shove Knife
The Zak Tool ZT64 is a shove knife, a thin, flat tool that slides into the gap between a door and its frame to push back a spring latch without a key. Locksmiths, first responders and people who deal with lockouts carry one because it gets many common latched doors open without damaging the lock or the door. The blade is high carbon steel with a hooked, notched working end, and it has a grip sleeve on the handle and a red sleeve that covers the tip.

Build and Carry
The ZT64 is a single steel blade with no moving parts, so nothing can loosen or break off during use. The grip sleeve covers the lower part of the handle and leaves the engraved section and working end exposed. When the tool is not in use, fit the red sleeve over the hooked end so it can ride in a toolkit, glovebox or bag alongside other gear.

Handy Addition To My GearBought this to keep in my car for if I lock myself out. The thin blade works on outward doors too by slipping in and manipulating the latch.
