P229 Cleaning Mat

The TekMat Sig Sauer P229 mat gives you a padded, oil-resistant surface to strip and clean your pistol on, with the gun's full parts breakdown printed right under your hands. It keeps solvent and lubricant off the kitchen table or workbench, stops small springs and pins from rolling away, and shows you where each part goes when it is time to put the gun back together. Construction And Care

TekMat builds the mat in layers: a thermoplastic fiber top surface bonded directly by vulcanization to a 1/8 inch rubber substrate, so there is no glue layer to peel apart. The top is printed in white and grey on black, which keeps the line drawing and part numbers easy to read under shop light. After a session, wash off any oil or solvent, let it dry and roll it up. The diagram is drawn for the Sig Sauer P229, but the mat works as a bench pad for any small parts work.
