This is the factory Smith & Wesson magazine for the M&P15-22, the company's rimfire rifle built on the AR-15 layout. It holds 25 rounds of .22 LR in a Flat Dark Earth polymer body, so you can run a longer string at the range between reloads. Fit and Construction

The body is curved to follow the stack of rimfire cartridges and has recessed panels along both sides that add grip when you insert or strip the magazine. A removable tan baseplate closes the bottom, and the Smith & Wesson logo and "22 LR / 25 ROUND" markings are molded directly into the polymer. It is intended for the M&P15-22 and should not be assumed to fit other .22 LR rifles or AR-15 conversion kits.
