Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380

Compact .380 Carry Pistol

The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 is a small-frame pistol built for concealed carry, where a full-size handgun is too big to hide comfortably. It chambers .380 ACP and has a slim black polymer frame that tucks under a shirt or into a pocket holster. It suits everyday carriers who want a defensive pistol they will actually bring along, and experienced shooters looking for a backup gun.

Features

• Chambered In .380 ACP — A short pistol cartridge, also known as 9x17mm, that is easier to manage than 9mm in a gun this small.
• Polymer Frame — The molded black polymer frame keeps the pistol light for all-day carry.
• Textured Grip Panels — Patterned panels on the grip give your hand something to hold on to when your palms are damp.
• Finger-Rest Magazine Baseplate — An extended lip on the magazine gives your little finger a place to sit on such a short grip.
• Low-Profile Sights — Front and rear sights sit close to the slide, so they are less likely to catch on clothing during the draw.
• Rear Slide Serrations — Cut grooves at the back of the slide give your fingers purchase when you rack it.
• Rounded Carry Profile — Smooth contours along the frame and slide help the pistol slip in and out of a holster without snagging.
• Springfield, MA Markings — The slide carries Smith & Wesson's Springfield, Massachusetts, U.S.A. roll mark.

Build And Carry

The Bodyguard 380 pairs a black slide with a black polymer frame. The grip has the S&W logo molded into it, and the textured panels are part of the frame. Its size makes it a fit for pocket, ankle and inside-the-waistband holsters made for the Bodyguard 380. Purchase and transfer are subject to all federal, state and local firearms laws.
