Exactly what a boot knife should beAs a first responder I wanted something compact and reliable I could access fast in an emergency and this thing delivers. Wore it clipped to my boot for a full 12 hour shift and it stayed put the entire time without any hot spots or discomfort. The blade came reasonably sharp out of the box and the spear point shape makes it useful for more than just defensive purposes. Only minor gripe is I wish the nylon sheath was kydex instead for better retention and durability long term.
