Ok knife for the money

It's a middle-of-the-road boot knife, but that was what I wanted. I'd recommend it.

Good for the price

Review by Syble E.

Wanted an inexpensive, semi-disposable blade for my carrier. Clip/sheath is nice and grippy. Knife itself is good. It’ll do it’s job when called upon. Went back and bought another. Recommended

Great value and goes anywhere

Review by Grant L.

I think it's a given that the blade is of low quality. It doesn't hold an edge for long; however, it's quick to sharpen, the sheath is terrific, the clip is very sturdy, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. It's light weight, but if you are not one to abuse your hardware, it's just right. I would buy this again.

Nice small knife, sturdy, sharp edge, it is ok for protection. The only flaw is not much protection for your hand to slide up the blade.

Too thin to count on....

Review by Ichael D.

There is no sense in having a double-edge shaped knife if only one edge is sharpened--it reduces its strength and heft, the latter of which would not have been a factor since the knife is small. That said, it is well made, as I have come to anticipate from most Kershaw products.

Not what I was expecting

Review by Amanda P.

I bought this knife to be used as a self defense weapon as backup to a handgun. The problem that exists is that after clipping it to your belt, you cannot just grab it and pull it from the sheath. If you do try to pull the knife from the sheath, the knife and the sheath will pull from the belt.

Great boot knife

Review by Consuella K.

Great size - fits well in a boot, pocket, or on a belt. My only complaint is that I wish the steel was higher quality so that it would hold an edge longer.

Almost a good knife, sheath/scabbard has two flaws

Review by Chante B.

I'm not sure why a dagger style weapon would be sharpened single edge only, but I figured I could hone the blunt side so I ordered it. Decent though softish steel in the blade honed easily. Knife is a good shape and length, with a very ergonomic handle. But the sheath holds the knife with a death grip-you must use two hands to draw the weapon from it. If you place the sheath on your belt, drawing the weapon will result in pulling the sheath from your belt (there is only a clip on the sheath). There is no adjustment on the retention either. With practice you can separate the knife from its sheath with a thumb flick, but this is not a natural drawing motion. This knife could be so much better. Not Kershaw's best product.

Knife is great, sheath is good but belt clip is useless

Review by Azeem R.

I like the knife and the sheath. However, the clip on the sheath is a rounded end. if you try to draw the knife from the sheath the whole sheath comes off the belt. Completely useless for a one handed draw.

Not tactical boot or waistband weapon.

Review by Leonte X.

The clip on the sheath will not hold in place when drawing the knife. Sheath slips out when knife is drawn. Slide clip should be replaced with hook clip. Knife is adequate single edged blade, although would be better as double edged. Makes a nice pruning blade.
