Springfield XD45 Compact Magazine

XD45 Compact Magazine

This is a factory Springfield Armory magazine for the XD45 Compact, the shorter-grip version of Springfield's .45 ACP XD pistol. It is the magazine to buy when you want spares from the same maker as the gun, whether for a carry reload, range sessions or a backup in the safe. Its length matches the compact grip, so the pistol keeps its concealable profile with a magazine seated.

Features

• Factory Springfield Armory Part — Made by the pistol's own manufacturer, so it matches the XD45 Compact's original specification.
• Chambered For .45 ACP — Built for the .45 ACP cartridge that the XD45 fires, a large-diameter pistol round used for defense and target shooting.
• Compact Length — Sized to the short grip of the XD45 Compact so the magazine sits flush with the frame rather than extending below it.
• Bright Steel Body — The polished silver metal tube resists wear from repeated loading and drops on the range.
• Black Polymer Follower — The follower, the plate the spring pushes up under the cartridges, is molded polymer for smooth movement inside the tube.
• Witness Hole — A small viewing port in the side of the body lets you check whether rounds are loaded without emptying the magazine.
• Polymer Base Pad — A black base pad at the bottom gives a solid surface to seat the magazine with the palm and protects the tube when it hits the ground.

Fit And Build

This magazine is made for the Springfield XD45 Compact pistol, SKU XD4501. The body is bright steel with formed feed lips at the top, the shaped edges that hold each cartridge in position until the slide strips it into the chamber. A black polymer follower and base pad complete it. If you own an XD45 Compact, this is the direct factory replacement or spare.
