Springfield XD Cleaning Mat

The TekMat for the Springfield Armory XD is a 17 x 11 inch bench mat printed with a full exploded diagram of the pistol, so every pin and spring you remove has a labeled spot to match it against. Lay it down before a field strip or a deeper teardown and it protects the table from solvent and oil while keeping small parts from rolling away. It suits XD owners who clean their own pistol, from the first-time detail strip to the armorer swapping a striker spring.

Construction And Care

TekMat builds the mat in layers: a thermoplastic fiber surface carrying the dye-sublimated artwork, bonded directly by vulcanization to a 1/8 inch rubber substrate. The printing is white on black for strong contrast under a work lamp. When oil or carbon builds up, wash the mat and let it dry before the next session.
