Swedish Military Bandage
The Swedish Military Bandage is a genuine Försvarsmakten-issued elastic field dressing built for battlefield first aid and general trauma care. Constructed from a stretch-woven cotton and elastic blend, it measures roughly 80 inches long by 4.5 inches wide and extends to nearly double that length under tension, making it equally useful as a wound dressing, pressure wrap, or limb brace. Each bandage is individually sealed in its own protective pouch to keep it clean until the moment you need it. Exactly what I hoped forThese Swedish bandages are a nice addition to my kit. The quality is immediately apparent you can tell these were actually issued gear, not some cheap repro. The elastic has that distinct "old school" feel to it, not overly synthetic like modern athletic wraps. At roughly 80 inches by 4.5 inches, they're substantial pieces of kit. These are simpler but honestly more versatile for general first aid tasks. I picked up a half dozen to keep in my collection and rotate through my various bugout bags. The fact they're NOS from the 80s just adds to the charm for me. Finish and construction is consistent with other Swedish military gear I've handled over the years solid, functional, no frills.

OK for theMoneyNone of the ones I received were sealed, but the elastic was in like new condition. These are probably not the ideal type of bandage to apply directly to an open wound anyway, but instead over top of gauze or a sterilized bandage. For the money, they are a good value.
