Like virtually all Swiss military gear, this canteen with cup is a high quality canteen system that is unique. Each M84 canteen comes with the correct aluminum cup which nests at the bottom of the canteen providing support and protection for the canteen when not being used.

    Nice canteen, pretty cool cup attaches to bottom. Cleaned up inside good treated inside after disinfecting with baking soda soaked in water overnight. Put in fridge for a week tasted like water.

    Cup stays put on cup, bought a military canteen pouch ( the one with elastic at top instead of shock cord) tucked flap inside it fits nicely in-between locking flap.

    Don't like gas mask lid, can't take apart for cleaning.. lots of cleaning to get it clean and taste free. Easier to buy Nalgene canteen. But they are not as cool!
