Build And Fit

TorkMag builds this magazine as a two-section polymer body: a standard-width upper that fits the AR-15 magazine well, and a wider, longer lower section that houses the extra rounds and the second spring. The upper carries the catch slot and feed lips in the usual AR-15 pattern, so it seats in the rifle the same way your existing magazines do. Because the lower section is longer than a 30-round magazine, expect it to sit lower under the rifle and to need a taller pouch.
