Just what I was looking for, I got tired of the lightweight sun hats I have been buying in Mexico because they just can't keep the sun off my ears. And no pocket or anything to attach a net. It's exactly what the description says it is. My only wish is that the bottom of the brim was about an inch longer. I have pretty big melon and the brim on this just doesn't reach my ears all the way. I'll probably cut it.

TruSpec makes high quality clothing and gear. I have 2 now and plan to get more. I love the way the strap on the side sits and fits. The only downside is they are not cotton and do get hot in warmer weather. I just need to make sure to keep a small towel in the truck for sweat. They also make this hat with Cotton & Silk in a Khaki. For my money, I'll go with TruSpec. It's just a better hat. I highly recommend this boonie for those looking for quality gear and good fit.

The hat fits well. But it seems smaller than most hats that say the same size. It seems to run one size down. For reference I wear a 7 1/4 and 7 1/2 depending on how I want it to fit. This fits closer to 7 1/4 than 7 1/2. But it's not tight, it fits good and it keeps the sun off of me, and is functional. It does everything I want it to do, it just seems a little small for my head.
