Tru-spec quality is second to none! If it’s got a Tru-spec label, chances are you’re buying quality and great construction. The boonie is very comfortable and keeps the sun out of my face and ears. Would highly recommend this boonie to anyone looking for something similar. I wear a 7 1/4 and bought the 7 1/2 size. Perfect fit. If you’re on the fence, take the chance and you won’t be disappointed.

Good quality, fit and price, wear in the Florida sun is really comfortable, not to hot and really good looking hat too. Worth the price and will definitely be getting another one when I wear this one out. Will be buying this same hat again in other color too.

Hat is good quality. Fits my size 7 1/4 with a 1/2 inch seam on the brim. I recommend this. Good sun protection with all mesh. Excellent fit for price

Lightweight but sturdy. The crown is a bit shallow, which allows the hat to sit a bit high on the head. Not a deal breaker for me, just a bit unusual.

Best boonie I've found. If your lucky you might get the one with cotton netting in the brim that is much better than all the rest, unfortunately that is not what I got, not a deal breaker because this hat stands alone. Adjustable, packs down, ties to your backpack strap, can put your canteen inside and tie it on and off very easy and snug without taking off. It's like nothing else on the market, I would not buy another hat again.

It's a very good boonie hat, the brim could be a bit longer but not by much. All in all a great purchase

This isn't the same brim as what we've had for the last decade. This looks a lot like a regular boonie but the brim is a little narrower, a little more stiff, more boxy, but not overly so. My old favorite one was retired after wearing it in the salt water for about 5 years and now its's got this stiff new stuff on it, probably not so saltwater friendly anymore but lets see how it does on this spring fishing trip. Also its seems to fit a little smaller on me. I wear a medium. It fits me ok but my other 2 sizes were looser, I don't think the brim length is that much different, just maybe a little stiffer. Its definitely worth getting, you can't go wrong for 12 bucks and worth getting the sizing for your noggin.

I like it a lot I'm thinking about ordering a bunch of them in different patterns. Well made and I just got a medium which I have a normal-ish size head and I don't think it would be a problem to get an XL or XXL I just like my fitted ones a little tighter

hat arrived on schedule and as advertised. hat is as described. its sized correctly. it has all the necessary adjustments to make it fit perfectly, no complaints there. feels durable, so far i have had no issues. i can't say anything about its comfort because my primary purpose for this hat is to wear it when i play paintball and not keep it on my head for extended periods of time. I have not put this hat through the ringer in a work capacity but if it were to ever fail in a combat environment I have confidence that my nuthole is covered.

These are always reliable. Great fit and comfort. I can always trust these to do their job. The foliage pattern looks great with the OCP.

The Tru-Spec Military Boonie Hat with Canvas is very stylish. This boonie hat is a classic shape and has adjustable sizing. I really like this hat because it fits my head perfectly, but also has a way to make the hat size bigger. The brim of the hat is stiff, which helps keep it from getting wet or blown around in the wind. This brim is a nice width and has great protection for the face and eyes. There is a single strap to hold the hat on, and I prefer this over the dual straps that most boonie hats have. This Boonie hat also has two sets of grommets to keep the hat on the wirst properly. This Boonie cap has all that is necessary for sun, wind, water protection, yet is still light weight. Overall the Quality and Fit is good. The size of the Tru-Spec boonie is true to my actual hat size, and it does have an adjustment band to make the hat fit tighter if necessary. It does come with a very handy map case that I did not expect and that is nice. This hat looks very durable and is not something I will have to throw away in a year.

I bought this boonie hat for my hubby, he is very particular on what hat to wear. And he really loves this one! So I bought another one! This fits him perfectly and looks great! Highly recommended! Thanks!

Aaah, nostalgia. This hat makes me think back to a decade or so ago, before they were super trendy, and only "military surplus" vendors carried these things. The big bonus is that they are lightweight, very well ventilated, and don't need to be replaced nearly as often as sun hats. If you want protection from light rain, I recommend the e-TR2 rain hat, which does have some kind of internal membrane, although it is less ventilated than the Tru-Spec boonies. They are not waterproof, so don't plan on walking through a lake or wading across a creek with this. It does a great job keeping out light rain, but if you want protection from the heavy downpours you will need something heavier. As others have said, Tru-Spec seems to have their own unique sizing scheme, but they are quite forgiving, so just measure the circumference of your head and choose a size accordingly. You can always use one of those wrist ties to make it fit tighter if it's a bit loose. And of course if you have long hair, this probably isn't the hat for you.

I’m pleased with the look, weight, and the color of this product. Will update once the weather turns. I like that I don’t have to fold it. I use the clip for hanging and the webbing for storage. Looks good with a khaki vest

Nice quality. Will definitely purchase another when I'm able to part with this one. Love that you can tuck in the strap and the chin strap when the netting is down.

Awesome boonies, very light weight. Keeps me shaded, and looks cool. Great hat for airsoft. Comes in various colors too. My boonies are at least 4 years old, still in great shape. Love them. They are just the right size.
