The Tru-Spec boonie is a wide-brimmed field hat for hot weather. It keeps sun and rain off your face, ears and neck. This version is printed in MultiCam Tropic, the jungle variant of the MultiCam pattern, with heavier greens and browns for dense vegetation. • Brass Screened Eyelets — Vents on each side of the crown let heat out while the screens keep insects from getting in.

Fabric And Build

The hat is made in Honduras from a 50/50 nylon and cotton ripstop. That blend breathes like cotton but holds up to brush better than cotton alone. The construction follows the military boonie layout of a soft crown, a webbing foliage band and a stitched brim, so it pairs with MultiCam Tropic uniforms and with other jungle-pattern kit.
