The Tru-Spec UDT Shorts are genuine shorts inspired by those worn by divers within the prestigious Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT). Established by the US Navy during WWII, these elite forces served as reconnaissance experts and destructive forces against beachfront barriers before amphibious invasions. Additionally, they were responsible for retrieving astronauts post-space missions from the Mercury to Apollo eras. As pioneers in combat swimming, closed-circuit diving, underwater explosives usage, and miniature submarine operation techniques, the UDTs ultimately laid the foundation for contemporary Navy SEALs.

These are true UDT shorts

Bought these for my son for a class. He loves them. They are true to size in the waist. Try them on if you have never worn them. They are short and the use of a jammer may be needed.
