US Air Force Tiger Stripe Camo Pants

USAF Tiger Stripe Trousers

These are US Air Force uniform trousers in the digital tiger stripe pattern of the Airman Battle Uniform, or ABU, the Air Force's utility uniform before the service moved to OCP. They suit collectors building a complete ABU set, reenactors and airsofters portraying Air Force personnel, and anyone who wants a properly cut set of military field trousers for work, range days or the outdoors. Because they are government-issue, the cut, pockets and pattern match what airmen wore.

Features

• ABU Tiger Stripe Pattern — A pixelated tiger stripe camouflage in tan, gray, slate blue and sage green, unique to the US Air Force.
• Genuine Military Issue — These trousers were made for the US armed forces, not for the commercial market.
• Thigh Cargo Pockets — A flapped cargo pocket on each thigh holds gloves, maps or a phone.
• Lower Leg Pockets — A smaller pocket low on each leg keeps small items close at hand.
• Front Slash Pockets — Angled hand pockets at the front open easily when you are standing or kneeling.
• Button Waist Closure — A single button secures the waistband above the fly.
• Belt Loops — Loops around the waistband take a standard rigger's belt or duty belt.
• Reinforced Knee Area — Extra panels stitched across the knees add material where trousers wear through first.
• Two Size Variants — Each variant carries its own stock number, so check the size option before ordering.

Air Force Issue ABU

The Air Force made the ABU its own utility uniform to give airmen a pattern distinct from the Army and Marine Corps, and these trousers are the bottom half of that uniform. The pattern was later retired in favor of OCP, so issued ABU trousers are now sought after by collectors and by anyone recreating Air Force kit from that era. Pair them with an ABU blouse for a matching set, or wear them alone as hard-working field pants.
