Aluminized Fire Coat

This is a US military firefighter coat with a silver aluminized shell, the type of outer layer used on proximity gear because the metallic surface reflects radiant heat instead of absorbing it. It closes with four heavy metal clasps under a wide storm flap and has a tall collar that seals at the throat. Collectors of US military and fire service gear, reenactors and display builders will find it a solid piece of genuine government-issue protective clothing.
