Having been issued in the hundreds of thousands during a very long service life the Flyers Kit Bag will be immediately recognized by anyone who has served as aircrew in the military. Designed to give aircrew a large and strong bag to carry essential gear onto their airplane these bags became the US military equivalent to today's carry-on luggage.

A great bag for the money. It was in very good condition, no holes, etc. It had that funky smell that took me back to my Infantry days in the late 70's. I washed it and then spent an hour trimming all the threads from the seams inside, and sealing them with a small torch. Once that was done its a great bag to store gear in : )
