M9 Beretta Duty Holster

The M12 is the hip holster the US Armed Forces adopted for the Beretta 92, issued as the M9 pistol. Bianchi designed it in the 1980s, and it stayed in service through the Iraq War era and after. The M12 is genuine US government-issue equipment. American contractors including Bianchi and Cathey Enterprises built it to a design that earned five separate patents. Each unit is molded plastic and woven nylon with steel belt hardware and weighs about 1 lb (0.45 kg). Because it is the original issue item and not a commercial lookalike, it is the correct holster for an M9-era load-bearing setup.
