Bought for SAW ammo, use it for everythingActually bought this for my semiauto M249S because I wanted the authentic experience. Fits the 200-round box perfectly, just like it's supposed to. The detachable top lets me feed the belt without removing the box, which is the whole point. Then I discovered it's also perfect for: carrying two 1-quart canteens, holding my spotting scope and tripod, storing a full cleaning kit with room for patches, and as a dump pouch when I don't feel like unclipping it. Construction is legit military mine is dated 2008, some wear on the corners but all MOLLE intact, all snaps work. The drain grommet in the bottom is smart, lets water out, lets air in so things don't mildew. For $26 it's cheaper than any "tactical" pouch half this size. The SAW designation scares some people off, but this is just a really good large pouch.
