- Colt-Marked M7 Bayonet — Authentic U.S. military M7 pattern bayonet stamped with the Colt trademark and production number 62316 on the blade.
- M16 and M4 Compatibility — Mounts directly to the M16 rifle and M4 carbine, and fits a wide range of other rifles, carbines, and combat shotguns that accept the M7 lug pattern.
- Spear-Point Blade — 6 3/4" (171 mm) carbon steel spear-point blade with a partially serrated false edge for thrusting, cutting, and utility work.
- Overall Length — Roughly 11 3/4" (298 mm) overall, sized and balanced for fixed-bayonet use or as a fighting knife.
- Checkered Polymer Grips — Black ribbed polymer grip scales secured to a steel tang for a positive hold in wet, cold, or gloved conditions.
- Push-Button Locking Catch — Spring-loaded latch in the pommel locks the bayonet onto the rifle's bayonet lug and releases cleanly when needed.
- M8A1 Scabbard Included — Issued with the correct USM8A1-marked scabbard featuring an olive drab fiberglass body, steel throat, and belt frog with snap retention.

Solid bayonet for my ARGot this Colt M7 with the M8A1 scabbard and slapped it on my M4 clone for a range day setup. The push button on the pommel locks onto the bayonet lug pretty clean and pops off when you want it, which is nice. Blade had a couple light drag marks from the spring inside the scabbard but nothing crazy, just looks used like surplus should. I oiled the inside of the scabbard a bit cause it was dry and the retention felt better after. Does what its supposed to and looks the part on the rifle.

Solid piece, scabbard a little stiffNever bought a bayonet before but this one feels legit. The blade came with some oil on it which is fine but the scabbard was hard to get off at first, had to work it a bit. Still happy overall.

Writing reviewAgain keep shooting has Delivered. This is my 5th colt bayonet I have ordered, it can in five days, goes to show you rant this crazy COVID is not putting a delay in there service. As for this bayonet , it was in very good to excellent condition. Collectors you need to buy these up when they become available, the value is doing nothing but going up.
