Real deal USGI, not Rothco junkGot these to rebuild the LBE I had at Bragg in the late 80s. NSN 8465-00-001-6471 stamped right on the yoke, brass snap hooks which tells me these are actual LC-1 not LC-2 (the LC-2 redesignation in '91 switched to steel hooks, same suspenders otherwise). Padding is still thick, OD webbing hasn't faded much, and the stitching at the Y junction is tight no fraying. I ran Rothco's "GI type" H-style LC-1s years ago and the webbing was noticeably thinner and narrower than issue, felt like I was wearing dollar store suspenders. These are the real 1000 denier nylon, made in USA, with the correct D-rings up front for your compass pouch or whatever else you wanna hang off em. Snapped right onto my pistol belt and buttpack with zero drama. If you're building a proper ALICE rig and not cutting corners, get the genuine article.
Genuine USGI with correct NSN and brass hardware
1000D nylon construction still solid after decades
Padding distributes load way better than commercial repros -
Unissued 1985, metal hooks, perfectBuilding a 1980s USGI loadout and needed proper LC-1 suspenders. These showed up dated 1985, unissued condition, still had the paper tags. Metal hooks, not the plastic ones that break. The webbing is stiff but not dry-rotted, clearly stored well. Shoulder pads are intact, not crumbling like some 40-year-old nylon does. The H-harness design is simple, effective, distributes weight way better than my modern minimalist suspenders for heavy ALICE loads. Fitted them to my LC-2 belt with M1956 ammo pouches, canteen, and butt pack. Carried 30 pounds for a 5-mile hike, no shoulder fatigue, no slipping. The metal hooks are loud when they clank, but they don't pop off like plastic.
For $20 it's genuine USGI, not reproduction. Buying a backup set before these disappear.

Comfortable all day wear.I love how the suspenders hold my belt steady without sagging, and the adjustable pads stay in place no matter how much I move. They feel like a genuine piece of ALICE equipment.

Railroad BillShipping was fast. The product was in excellent shape. Used, but not like other military surplus I’ve got from other stores in the past. I would highly recommend the suspenders and this store.
