Czech Issue Y-Back Braces
These are Czech Army suspenders: olive green, button-on braces that hold trousers up from the shoulders instead of cinching them at the waist. The Y-back layout keeps the straps from sliding off your shoulders, and the elastic gives as you bend, crouch and climb. They suit anyone wearing heavy field or work pants, along with collectors and reenactors building out a Czech kit.

- Y-Back Design — The two front straps join into a single strap at the back, which sits flat between the shoulder blades and stays put better than an X-back.
- Ribbed Elastic Straps — The wide olive green webbing has a fine ribbed weave and enough stretch to move with you without letting the trousers drop.
- Cotton And Polyester Blend — The strap material combines cotton for comfort against a shirt with polyester for strength and shape retention.
- Button-On Attachment — Each strap end splits into two tabs with button slits, so the suspenders fasten to buttons sewn inside the trouser waistband rather than clipping on.
- Six Button Points — Two tab pairs at the front and one at the back spread the load across the waistband for a secure hold.
- Metal Slide Adjusters — A metal slider on each front strap lets you set the length to your torso and the rise of your trousers.

Original Czech Army Issue
This is genuine Czech military gear, issued to the army and built to its specification instead of a commercial pattern. Button-on braces remain the traditional choice with service trousers because they keep the waist free and the trousers hanging straight. If your pants have no suspender buttons, a tailor can add them or you can sew them on yourself: six buttons, four at the front and two at the back.

Solid suspendersGot these in about 3 days which was awesome. They work great for keeping gear in place. Only thing is the color is slightly different than the picture but honestly it doesnt really matter.

Pleasantly suprised for the priceOk so I've been buying military surplus gear for probably 15 years now and I gotta say these Czech army suspenders are legit. I originally bought a set of ALICE suspenders from another seller and they fell apart after about 8 months — the clips just snapped right off. These are a completely different animal. The construction is solid, the material feels like it could survive a warzone (I mean, it was literally designed to lol), and they distribute weight really well when I hook them to my belt with a loaded pistol mag pouch and canteen. I wear these hiking and also just doing yard work when I've got my tool belt on.
