USGI Thompson Oiler
The USGI Thompson Oiler is the original U.S. Government Issue oil bottle that shipped with the M1928 and M1928A1 Thompson submachine gun during World War II. Pulled from WWII-era Thompson parts sets, it features a brass body with the correct black crinkle paint finish and a threaded filler cap with a built-in fine dropper sealed by a needle closure. The oiler was designed to stow inside the trap door of the Thompson's wooden buttstock, keeping lubrication on the gun and ready for field use. A correct piece for Thompson collectors, WWII reenactors, and anyone restoring an M1928/M1928A1 build.
