Authentic USGI TAP! Way More Capable Than a HaleyGrabbed one of these after debating between surplus and dropping $200+ on a Haley Strategic Heavy rig. Let me tell you this is the real deal. Genuine USMC issue TAP (Tactical Assault Panel) built from 500D Cordura that's seen actual service. Six mag pouches plus admin pockets and you still get MOLLE real estate up front. The quick-release buckles integrate clean with my IOTV, something most commercial rigs can't do without adapters. Sure the shoulder harness isn't padded like my buddy's Spiritus rig but honestly? For the price of two boxes of Hornady Critical Defense I got a Berry Compliant, made-in-USA chest rig that holds way more than those minimalist setups. Already ordered a second one.
