Italian Vegetato Camo Tee

This Mil-Tec short-sleeve T-shirt is printed in Vegetato, the woodland camouflage pattern of the Italian armed forces. It works as a base layer under a field shirt or plate carrier, as a range or hunting shirt, or as everyday wear for collectors of European camo. It is a commercial garment made by Mil-Tec, not issued surplus, so you get a new shirt in a pattern that is hard to find outside Italy.

Features

• Vegetato Woodland Pattern — Irregular splotches of tan, olive, brown and black, the same color scheme the Italian military uses for temperate and wooded terrain.
• 100% Cotton Single Jersey — Single jersey is the smooth, stretchy knit used for most T-shirts, and in all-cotton form it breathes well and feels soft against the skin.
• Lightweight Fabric — At roughly 140 g/m² (about 4 oz per square yard), the shirt is light enough for warm weather or for layering under other kit.
• Contrast Ribbed Crew Collar — A tan rib-knit neckband holds its shape and stretches back after you pull the shirt on and off.
• Reinforced Neck Taping — Tape stitched across the inside of the neck seam keeps the collar from stretching out or fraying with repeated washing.
• Tubular Body — The torso is knitted as one continuous tube with no side seams, so there are no seams to rub under a pack strap or chest rig.

Fabric And Construction

The shirt is made from all-cotton single jersey printed edge to edge in Vegetato, with a solid tan collar that picks up the lightest tone in the pattern. Mil-Tec uses a seamless tubular body, taped neck and double-stitched hems, so the shirt holds up to regular wear and washing. Because it is cotton, expect it to dry more slowly than synthetic shirts. It is best suited to warm, dry conditions and casual use.
