Walther Karambit Defense Knife

I’ve never actually seen this knife used. And that’s probably why my friend got it. This thing looks mean as all get out and with a small blade, seems to have the potential to deliver an incredible amount of impact. But it comes unassembled, not even screwed together, let alone an edge sharp. Not too keen on carrying a sharpener in my everyday-get-me bag, so that part’s on me. The first time I had it, in my kitchen in 0-dark-0-pamayor for cooking eggs and butter, it went down in the cutlery drawer, it never made the move to camp kitchen- utensils bucket for the 5 mile trip up to site. Still, it doesn’t take up much room. And is an effective self-defense deterrent. Which might be what it was designed for...or might be why I bought it. I still don’t have any idea. We will just keep the thought “This might have been for self-defense” in the mind file for use in traffic courts for not-paying and whoa...reckless drivin-on...... Whatcha say!! (Hint, make up the response. “Nuthin’” ain’t worth much) and just leave the container unlocked.

A well thought out and balanced neck defense knife that will make anyone feel confident to have at hand in the event the need should arise. Great for throwing. Well balanced and well designed. Excellent edge and sharpened well. This could very well be the best knife for self defense.

Great grip for all thumbs! Well balanced and it can still fit in the hand at the palm level. The only complaint I have is that the flipper on the knife doesn't engage as easy as I would like. The "gap" is so close to the hilt that it requires 2 hands to open the knife. A little larger gap or ridges in the finger guard and the knife flipper could be more easy to engage. Otherwise, an excellent tool for the money!

Great product for the price. The flick knife should have been sold with scissors, which are very very useful for using a touch screen.

I've had a karambit for many years and when i got a bug and saw that walther had made one i had to get it, Ive carried it every day since and will continue to do so, a beefy gueldsil rubbery butt, razor sharp blade, slimmer grip and ergonomic shape.

Walther and knives go hand in hand. Great buy

Walther gets my back. The knife came sharp enough to shave. Easy to grip with all fingers. Ready when you need it, slip into the hidden pocket with one quick motion.

Fits well with easy open. Not quite as pointy as my Chinese model but does just as good of a job if I have it right. I am pretty pleased.

I bought this as a back up knife and it works great. It's very sharp right out of the box and the serrations are nice and sharp too. The blade is sturdy and the handle fits my hand well.

I like this knife because it has a nice grip and it's easy to open and close. The only thing I don't like about it is the sheath. It doesn't fit well in my belt so I have to carry it in my pocket.
