Walther P99 Folding Knife

The Walther P99 knife is an impressive utility knife.  Like other knives currently offered by Walther, it has design elements borrowed from a famous Walther firearm. The massive spearpoint blade, made of 440C, has a black coating and a recurve on the back, making it a real eyecatcher.  Like the P99 pistol this knife has a replaceable handle spine, allowing it to be adjusted to different hand sizes.

Fantastic Knife! Outstanding Value!

The best bang for your buck, imo. You won't be disappointed with this knife, especially at this price. I've used it to open up cardboard boxes, stab through the ends of paper plates, carve fish (yes it was that sharp), all sorts of mundane stuff and have yet to encounter a snag or issue. I've also been asked about the knife, and it was usually for the photos I posted on social media of it opening packages I was shipping. This knife was also great for a field test. I carried it in my pocket for 3 days straight during which I had an extended backpacking trip, hiked 28 miles, climbed mountains, rappelled, and otherwise was exposed to the elements for a period of time without any cleaning or sharpening. When I got back, I put a new blade in it and then proceeded to clean the carbon buildup off the frame with a few soaks in sno butler and now its back in my pocket as I type this. Its a rugged knife that was easily taken apart for a cleaning. After which, I cleaned up all the surface with brake-cleaner and used Armory Pro cloths and worked on sharpening it a bit with a little bit of a taper. Now its back to being an everyday companion for me, the pocket has taken to wearing down the finish and blade some but I cant find a flaw or defect anywhere. All my fellow packmates wanted one after I took it out and compared it to the Kershaw that one of them had on him, he was able to procure one through Amazon (AZ), which surprised me. I didn't realize there was demand, but I am grateful he did get one, so I can finally show the knife off to some of my other acquaintances. For its price and sturdy build, this is easily the best "field use" knife I've ever had. It can be had at under $20, or 5-6x the price on the secondary market. Either way, for its build quality, I don't think you can find a knife with a longer value-per-dollar

Nice EDC knife

This knife is a very sturdy knife, has nice weight to it, the steel used is excellent and easy to sharpen and is capable of holding an edge, it fits well in my hand and my pocket. For the price you cannot beat this, but it does require periodic oiling to keep it from rusting and if you live in a very humid area, will need to oil more often, if you want to carry it with a neck chain I suggest buying the MBS scorpion knife instead, as the blade on this one is too thick for it.

It is exactly what it says it is. Made in Germany! Came in perfect shape, undamaged and as shown in the pic. Perfect everyday EDC folder. I highly recommend this knife. Thanks for your prompt service.

The very tip of a thumb can slide into the locking button of the blad with out pushing the blad away. This locks the blade firmly.

Exquisite workmanship and finish..in every detail and material. I can' t get enough of looking at it..the photos cannot show the subtle differences and the high quality which are of the piece and have it's perfection. No need to know a secret code to take it out. Tight fit of the frame. This WOULD and CAN hold it's position and edge very well if it were the knife one used to make or sheath their home .in a secrete cave , deep in the middle of Antarctica , as someone' dear as a soul and that they did't see and have to go years and year' s with it .

High Quality, Nice Knife
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Great looking Walther Knife. Walther Knives can often run $100+ depending on style, material and blade shape. However this knife sells for a reasonable $25-30. This knife is nice, and well made. The blade has sharp double edge. It is a solid, high quality and heavy duty. I like that this knife also comes with a pocket clip for belt carry which makes it very easy to put on a belt and quickly draw. Also, the handle is nicely made with a high grip surface that makes it easy to hold and easy to manipulate. A second thumbstud is located on the back, just like the real P99 Compact. This allows for quick deployment of the knife from the sheath. All-in-all a very nice well made Walther Knife that's a great buy for the money. Shipping is also fast. Great buy.
