Walther P99 Folder
The Walther P99 Folding Knife is a full-size everyday carry folder that takes its name and grip idea from Walther's P99 pistol. Like the pistol, its handle accepts interchangeable backstraps, so you can size the grip to your hand instead of adapting to a fixed shape. A 4-inch 440C stainless blade, a liner lock and a belt pouch make it a practical knife for work, camping and general utility.
Features
- 440C Stainless Steel Blade — The 4-inch blade is 440C, a high-carbon stainless steel that holds an edge well and resists rust, and it carries a black finish with the Walther logo and P99 marking.
- Recurved Spine Profile — The spearpoint blade has a concave curve along its back that leads to a strong, centered tip.
- Liner Lock — A spring-steel liner inside the handle snaps behind the open blade to hold it in place, and you press it aside with your thumb to close the knife.
- Flipper Tab And Thumb Stud — Open the blade one-handed by pulling back on the tab below the pivot or by pushing the stud on the blade.
- Interchangeable Backstraps — Small, medium and large backstraps change the depth of the grip, and the two spares come in the box with screws and a Torx key.
- Textured Synthetic Handle — Raised dots, ribbing and a finger choil on the black synthetic scales give a firm hold with wet or gloved hands.
- Lanyard Slot — A slot near the butt of the handle takes a cord or lanyard.
- Nylon Belt Pouch Included — The black nylon pouch closes with a snap-fastened flap and carries a Walther patch on the front.
- Compact Closed Length — The knife folds down to about 5 inches.
Build And Fit
The backstrap is held by small Torx screws, so swapping sizes takes a couple of minutes with the supplied key. Fitting the larger strap fills a big hand, while the small one suits shorter fingers or gloved use where bulk gets in the way. Everything is black, from the coated blade to the hardware and pouch, which keeps the knife low-key on a belt or in a pack.

Ideal EDC that opens easyBeen tossing this in my pocket for range days and weekend camp trips and it does what its supposed to. The one hand open is smooth once you get used to the thumb stud and that spear point blade is a good size for cutting cord and opening boxes without feeling huge. I like that the backstraps swap out so I could fit it better to my hand, reminds me of the P99 grip setup. Solid liner lock folder for the money and the black coating has held up fine so far.

Great Value Folder for the BOBI've been building out my bug-out bag on a budget and needed a solid secondary folder to complement my fixed blade. This Walther P99 folding knife checked alot of boxes for me. The 3.7 inch spear point blade is a good size big enough to be useful but not so big it's awkward in a pocket or MOLLE-attached pouch. 440C stainless is a smart choice for a SHTF blade because it resists corrosion way better than carbon steel... i don't want to be oiling my knife while I'm trying to get out of dodge. The recurve on the back of the blade is actually useful for cutting cordage and webbing. Compared to the Boker folders i was looking at, this is literally a fraction of the price and honestly the build quality punches above its weight. The interchangeable backstraps let you customize the grip which is something i haven't seen on other knives in this range. Threw it in the bag next to my IFAK and water filter, done.

Perfect backup to my main bladeThis is my second Walther knife and honestly theyre underrated. Sharp, lightweight, and the pocket clip actually stays put unlike some cheaper brands. Been using it for about 6 weeks now on weekends at the range and doing general camp stuff. No complaints whatsoever.

I carry the pistol so the knife was mandatoryI carry a Walther P99 as my daily gun so when I saw they made a knife with the same design language I had to have it. And honestly its way better than I expected from a firearm brand knife. The replaceable backstraps are borrowed directly from the pistol and they actually make a noticeable difference in how the knife sits in your hand swapped to the medium backstrap and it fits my grip perfectly now. The 3.7 inch 440C spearpoint blade came sharp out of the box and the black coating gives it a really aggressive look without being over the top. The recurve section near the base tears through cordage and zip ties like nothing. Comes with a black nylon belt pouch too which is a nice touch. At 8.77 inches overall when open its a substantial knife that dosent feel like a toy. If you own a P99 pistol this is basically a mandatory purchase
