The Walther BTTK (Black Tac Tanto Knife) is a one-hand folding knife built for everyday carry, field kits and vehicle emergency use. Its 4 inch tanto blade has an angled, reinforced point for piercing and a partially serrated edge for rope, webbing and seatbelt material. A glass breaker on the butt of the handle and an included nylon pouch round it out as a working tool for duty or outdoor carry.

• Tanto Blade Profile — The blade ends in a straight, angled point that puts more steel behind the tip than a curved blade, so it resists snapping when you push it through tough material.
• 440C Stainless Steel — The 4 inch (100 mm) blade is stamped 440C, a stainless steel that resists corrosion and holds a usable edge, finished in matte black to cut glare.
• Partially Serrated Edge — A plain section near the tip handles clean slicing work, while the toothed section near the handle saws through cord, strapping and fibrous material.
• Liner Lock — A spring steel liner inside the handle snaps behind the open blade to hold it in place, and you release it by pushing the liner aside with your thumb.
• Flipper And Thumb Stud Opening — Open the blade one-handed either by pressing the flipper tab, the small projection on the back of the blade, or by rolling the thumb stud forward.
• Jimped Spine — Grooves cut across the top of the blade give your thumb a non-slip rest for controlled cuts.
• Black Aluminum Handle — The handle has a checkered grip panel with the Walther logo, sculpted finger grooves and a front guard that keeps your hand off the edge.
• Glass Breaker Tip — A hardened point at the butt of the handle is there for breaking a car window in an emergency.
• Pocket Clip And Lanyard Hole — A black steel clip holds the closed knife in a pocket or on a waistband, and a hole at the rear takes a lanyard or retention cord.
• Nylon Belt Pouch Included — The black nylon pouch has a snap-closure flap and a Walther patch for belt carry when you would rather not clip the knife.

Build And Dimensions

The BTTK measures 5.375 inches closed and 9.375 inches open, with a 4 inch blade. It weighs about 5.8 oz (164 g), which makes it a solid, full-size folder rather than a slim pocket knife. Everything is finished in black, from the blade to the hardware and clip. The knife comes boxed with its nylon pouch.
