The .30-06 Laser Bore Sighter is a cartridge-style boresighting tool that chambers in any .30-06 Springfield rifle and projects a bright red laser dot exactly where the bore is pointed. Drop it in like a live round, close the action, and you can align a scope, red dot, or iron sights without firing a shot. The Class IIIa 635–655nm laser is visible out to roughly 100 yards and runs on included button-cell batteries. preciseI bought this thinking I was going to have a new Garand soon. That didn't happen, so I haven't gotten to use it. I have gotten a chance to use many other cal sighters from the same manufacturer and they work great. This one turns on and its bright, so it should do the trick.
