The Schmeisser quad-stack magazine holds 60 rounds in a body not much longer than a standard 30-round AK magazine. Quad-stack means the cartridges sit in four columns instead of the usual two, then merge into a conventional double stack just below the feed lips. That gives AK-47 pattern rifle owners double the capacity without a drum's bulk, which helps with range sessions, training drills and fewer reloads.
