SGM Tactical AK-47 Magazine - 30 Round - Steel

30-Round Steel AK Magazine

This is a full-size, 30-round steel magazine for AK-47 and AKM pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm. SGM Tactical builds it as an aftermarket replacement for the standard double-stack AK magazine, which holds rounds in two staggered columns to fit thirty cartridges into a compact body. It suits shooters who want extra steel magazines for range days, training or a home-defense rifle without hunting down original surplus.

Features

• 30-Round Capacity — Holds thirty rounds of 7.62x39mm, the standard load for a full-size AK magazine.
• Cold-Rolled SK-5 Steel — The body is formed from SK-5 steel that is rolled at room temperature, a process that gives a smooth, dense sheet suited to stamping.
• Reinforced Feed Lips — The curved edges at the top that hold rounds in position and release them to the bolt are strengthened to resist spreading over repeated loading.
• Stamped Ribbed Body — Raised ribs pressed along both sides stiffen the steel walls against flexing and denting.
• Double-Stack Design — Rounds sit in two staggered columns that feed alternately, matching the standard AK magazine layout.
• AK-47 And AKM Compatible — Fits standard AK-47 and AKM pattern rifles and similar variants that use the double-stack 7.62x39mm magazine.
• Electrodeposition Black Finish — The black coating is applied electrically so it bonds evenly to every surface, including recesses a spray coat can miss.
• Made In South Korea — Manufactured in South Korea for SGM Tactical.
• Lifetime Warranty — SGM Tactical backs the magazine with its lifetime warranty.

Construction And Fit

The magazine follows the familiar AK layout: a curved steel body, a front locking lug that hooks into the receiver, and a rear tab that engages the magazine catch. Insert it front first and rock it back until the catch clicks. Because it copies the standard double-stack pattern, it works with AK-47 and AKM rifles built to accept the common 7.62x39mm magazine.
