The AR-15 Forward Assist Assembly is a set of factory new parts for the AR-15. This assembly includes the forward assist, forward assist spring, and forward assist pin which makes up the complete forward assist assembly. These parts are ready to be installed onto your AR-15 upper receiver to give your rifle a functioning forward assist.

Description

The Forward Assist Assembly was part of the original design requirements for the new AR-15 rifle. Experience in combat led the US military to require the forward assist to assure that soldiers had a mechanism to close the bolt of their rifle should combat conditions foul up a rifle so bad that the bolt does not close automatically.
