This United Defense crush washer sits between an AR-15 barrel's 1/2-inch muzzle threads and the muzzle device. It lets you tighten a flash hider, compensator or brake down to the exact orientation you need. Builders, armorers and anyone swapping a muzzle device keep a few on the bench because each one is meant to be used once.

Features

Fitting And Use

Thread the washer onto the barrel ahead of the muzzle device, then tighten the device until it compresses the washer and comes into alignment. Check that your barrel's muzzle threads are 1/2-inch before ordering, since other calibers often use different thread sizes. If you remove the muzzle device later, replace the washer rather than reusing the flattened one.
