SABRE Law Enforcement 5.0 Mk4 Pepper Foam Canister

Duty-Size Pepper Foam

The SABRE Law Enforcement 5.0 Mk4 is a 3.3 oz pepper foam canister labeled as a law enforcement unit, sized to ride on a duty belt or in a jacket pocket. It delivers OC as a foam instead of a mist. The foam clings to the face it hits rather than hanging in the air, which helps keep the irritant off the user and bystanders in hallways, vehicles and other tight spaces. It suits officers, security staff and civilians who want a defensive spray they can deploy indoors.

Features

• 5% OC Formula — The canister holds a 5% concentration of oleoresin capsicum (OC), the oil extracted from hot peppers that causes the burning effect.
• 0.67% Major Capsaicinoids — Major capsaicinoids are the compounds that actually produce the heat, so this figure is a more useful measure of strength than the OC percentage alone.
• Foam Delivery — The formula leaves the nozzle as a sticky foam that stays on the target, which cuts down on airborne drift and blowback.
• Non-Flammable — The label marks the formula as non-flammable.
• Electronic Immobilization Device Compatible — The label rates it for use alongside electronic immobilization devices such as conducted energy weapons, a requirement for many duty kits.
• 3.3 oz Mk4 Canister — The Mk4 size carries more volume than a keychain unit while staying compact enough for belt carry.
• Flip-Top Actuator — A hinged black cap covers the spray button, which helps prevent accidental discharge when you carry it.
• Made In U.S.A. — Security Equipment Corporation manufactures the canister in Fenton, Missouri.

Label and Use Details

The label on each canister prints the model number 56H2030-F along with its manufacture and expiration dates, so you can check the shelf life and know when to replace it. The rear label carries SABRE's directions and first aid steps, and it warns against spraying a subject from closer than 3 feet (1 meter). Store it between 32°F (0°C) and 120°F (50°C), and test-spray it periodically to confirm it still works.
